To support the ministry of Flood, I've decided, with the support of the church council [at Calvary Bible Church] and pastoral staff, to use my passion for motorcycles to do a fundraiser, which will not only help Flood financially, but also help their name to become familiar to the people of Bakersfield.
The motorcycle trip is called "48-in-8". I'll be traveling to all 48 [continental] states in 8 days from June 30 to July 7. People all over the city will be able to pledge support by donating a lump sum of money or by pledging a certain amount per state that I travel through. The ride will be covered by KUZZ radio and other media sites here in town. Hopefully, the enormity of the ride will help Flood be very fruitful in reaching many people for Jesus Christ.
Your prayers will be appreciated that God will keep me safe and the motorcycle running well and that Flood will have all the resources it needs for its ministry.
